These fans are necessary to prevent heat creep, which will affect or damage your extruder assembly, and thus your finished prints. So, Here is the solution High Quality 40 x 40 x 20mm Small Intake Fan Eco-Friendly Customized Turbo air intake fan.

Dimensions are 40mm x 40mm x 20 mm. Sufficient for use in 3D printing, operating speed is 500 RPM at 5V operating Voltage. Two terminal cable length is 9 centimetres (9cm). The connector is already fitted and the product is out-of-the-box ready for installation.

These fans run on brushless bearings – meaning they run quietly and have a long lifespan. They are lightweight and can be mounted to a moving carriage without impacting on its performance.

Equipped to properly cool your 3D printer’s extruder assembly, this extruder fan is compatible with the MakerBot Replicator 2 and MakerBot Replicator 2X. Also Flashforge, CTC, and other 3D printer types.
