DESCRIPTION

The MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module is a highly reliable sensor designed to detect the presence of LPG (liquified petroleum gas), propane, butane and other flammable gases in the surrounding air. It is an essential component for creating gas leakage detection systems, home safety devices and industrial monitoring systems.This module is built around the MQ-6 sensor—a high-performance gas-sensing element that changes its resistance based on the concentration of combustible gases in the environment. The onboard signal conditioning circuit converts this change into an analog voltage output, which varies proportionally with the gas concentration.

The MQ-6 sensor provides fast response and high sensitivity, ensuring quick detection of gas leaks to help prevent hazardous situations. It also includes an adjustable potentiometer to fine-tune the sensitivity level according to specific requirements.
