Mechanical Engineer Intern

Job Summary

  • We require a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering graduate, to work closely with the Engineering Manager, to assist with the standardization of products and develop best practices for design, manufacturing techniques and commonality of components to minimize costs.
  • This opportunity will be attractive to freshers who wish to apply their skills and expertise (3D mechanical design and development, manufacturing techniques/procedures and Rapid Prototyping) in a progressive and challenging environment.
  • Perform design calculations, initiate ideas, support design failure model and effect analysis (DFMEA) and develop validation plan for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Perform product maintenance in support of Continuous Product Improvement (CPI)
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Process partners to understand and document the requirements
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, purchasing during part development
  • Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members and other cross functional teams
  • Work with assembly & supplier development engineers to finalize acceptance and releasing for production
